Artist's CommentsIn Greek mythology, Ares (Ancient Greek: Ἄρης [á.rὲεs], Μodern Greek: Άρης ['a.ris]) is the son of Zeus and Hera. Though often referred to as the Olympian god of warfare, he is more accurately the god of bloodlust, or slaughter personified. Whereas Athena is the goddess of strategic warfare, Ares represents mindless violence. More than seven hours again. T__T I like Poseidon better. Ares kinda scares me. I didn't mean for it to turn out this bloody and violent and terrifying, but then again, who am I kidding? He's the god of war and bloodshed. More runes! This is the second piece of my summer greek gods project with the first being Poseidon. It can be located here: [link] For a full list of the gods I will do, ones I've done, please visit my journal. You may also suggest gods there. Stock ----------- ~Colourize-Stock for the horse. ~Ladydragontl-Stock for the rocky cliff. ~PartWish for the sky. *LilyStox for the bands/anklets. My little cousin says it's the coolest evil horse she's seen and it's the best thing in the world, yadayada. So you won over a nine-year-old.
